When the time comes for Ahhh Therapeutic Massage to again open this practice following the stay-at-home orders and quarantines of this Covid-19 era, I will be implementing various health and safety practices to keep clients and myself safe and healthy.  

1) I ask that you stay at home if you are exhibiting any symptom of Covid -19:  fever, dry cough, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell ...  I assume most symptoms would keep you at home anyway:  chills, trouble breathing, pain the chest, diarrhea or vomiting - after all, who wants a massage when you have these symptoms.  I have always had a flexible policy - please call me and we will cancel/re-schedule if you do not feel well.  

2) Wearing a mask in the forseeable future is a must for both you and me.  Even if we are not exhibiting symptoms, we could be carrying the virus since it has a 14 day incubation period.  If you do not have one, I have made some that can be washed in hot soapy water, sprayed, and re-used.  

3) Hand sanitizer - another must as you enter my office.  I will be diligently cleaning all surfaces to ensure your safety between each client, including door knobs, mirror, basket, chairs, counters, desk, face cradle and arm rests, and equipment used during your session. 

4) As always, all sheets and face cradle cover, hair covers (all linens used) will be changed for laundry between clients.  

At the present time, I am not sure when I will be re-opening, based on guidance from the State of Kansas, Johnson County and Lenexa as well as the experts in the health field.  I just wanted you to know I have your health and safety in mind.
